FriendFeed Science Focus: Week #08, 2010

The NGS FriendFeed Sciencebot posts weekly updates on interesting science posts from FriendFeed, including the Life Scientists and Science 2.0 rooms.

In the wake of the Facebook buyout and the recent outage and the Buzz debacle and so on, lots of folks are considering exit strategies. I’m wondering whether we could fund a user-owned version, probably based on Tornado. Would you pay for FriendFeed? If so, how much/year? Survey here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/5HX98RY.

Find myself considering FriendFeed exit strategies. Not a knee-jerk response to the outage; the day will come, we should be prepared. Ideas?
